Brookvent Announces Leadership Transition
In 1990 a young man walked through the doors of BROOKVENT’S office and factory to start a journey that, this month, marks a milestone of 25 years in the company’s history.
Tony, our superstar Stores Supervisor, is a dedicated, long term member of the team who was presented with a voucher (and some cake) to a round of applause from his work friends across the business.
Some of the major events happening in the year Tony joined BROOKVENT in Dunmurry – West Germany defeat Argentina 1-0 in the 1990 FIFA World Cup, Partners in Kryme had a one hit wonder with Turtle Power in the UK charts and Budweiser had the world screaming ‘Wazzup’! with its contagious commercial.
Over the past 25 years Tony has seen BROOKVENT establish itself as a leading supplier of high performance window ventilation, begin R&D on heat recovery ventilation (HRV) and become a market leader with its highly efficient range of aircyle MVHR systems.
We caught up with Tony afterwards and asked him how he would describe his 25 years to date in the business – “…a pleasure to work in and a big adventure”.
