BRL60Z-GL EWR

The Brookvent BRL60Z-GL EWR is a glazed-in aluminium ventilation louvre designed to provide effective airflow while offering increased resistance to water penetration. Featuring a 60 mm Z-profile blade design, it is suitable for integration into compatible glazing systems where ventilation performance and protection against rainwater ingress are important considerations.

The BRL60Z-GL EWR provides a visual free area of 40% and a physical free area of 33%. The visual free area represents the apparent open proportion of the louvre when viewed from the front, while the physical free area indicates the effective open area available for air to pass through. These values help with product comparison and ventilation planning. Actual airflow will also depend on pressure drop, the dimensions of the installation and the wider ventilation system.

Manufactured from extruded aluminium profiles using EN AW-6060 T66 aluminium alloy, the louvre incorporates AISI 304 stainless steel mesh with 2.3 × 2.3 mm apertures. Its EWR (Extreme Water Resistant) configuration is designed for external ventilation openings where increased resistance to water ingress is required.

Designed for installation within a compatible glazing pocket using suitable glazing beads and packers, the BRL60Z-GL EWR offers an integrated finish for appropriate window and façade systems.
