BRL50Z-GL EWR

The Brookvent BRL50Z-GL EWR is a glazed-in aluminium ventilation louvre designed to provide airflow while offering increased resistance to water penetration. Featuring a 50 mm Z-profile blade design, it is suitable for integration into compatible window, door and façade glazing systems where ventilation and weather protection are important considerations.

The BRL50Z-GL EWR offers a visual free area of 24% and a physical free area of 16%. The visual free area represents the apparent open area when viewed from the front, while the physical free area indicates the effective open area available for air to pass through the louvre. These values are useful when assessing ventilation openings and comparing product configurations. Actual airflow performance will also depend on pressure drop and the design of the wider ventilation system.

Manufactured from extruded aluminium profiles and fitted with AISI 304 stainless steel mesh with 2.3 × 2.3 mm apertures, the louvre provides a durable solution for commercial, industrial and building-services applications. Its EWR (Extreme Water Resistant) design is intended for external ventilation openings where reducing rainwater ingress is a key requirement.

Designed for installation within a compatible glazing pocket using suitable glazing beads and packers, the BRL50Z-GL EWR offers an integrated finish for appropriate glazed building systems.
