BRL50Z-FL

The Brookvent BRL50Z-FL is a standard flanged aluminium ventilation louvre designed to provide effective airflow through external walls and building façades. Featuring a 50 mm Z-profile blade design, it is suitable for air intake and exhaust applications in commercial, industrial and building-services environments.

The BRL50Z-FL provides a visual free area of 78% and a physical free area of 48%. The visual free area represents the apparent open proportion of the louvre when viewed from the front, while the physical free area indicates the effective open area available for air to pass through. These figures are useful when comparing louvre designs and planning ventilation openings. Actual airflow performance will also depend on pressure drop, installation dimensions and the wider ventilation system.

Manufactured from extruded EN AW-6060 T66 aluminium profiles, the louvre combines durable construction with a practical design for external building applications. It incorporates AISI 304 stainless steel mesh with 2.3 × 2.3 mm apertures to help restrict the entry of larger external debris.

Designed for flanged installation into a compatible wall opening, the BRL50Z-FL provides a neat, practical finish for ventilation openings in commercial buildings, industrial facilities and other applications requiring external air intake or exhaust.
