The Brookvent airvent Thermal Break is a high-performance glazed-in window vent designed to provide effective background ventilation while helping reduce heat transfer through the vent when closed. Engineered for demanding applications, it features a thermally broken construction, double-seal arrangement and pressure pads to provide enhanced weather protection, making it particularly suitable for high-rise buildings and exposed locations.
Designed to fit between the window frame and sealed glazing unit, the Thermal Break provides fresh air circulation while the window remains closed. Its aluminium vent body and integrated uPVC thermal barrier combine durability with improved thermal separation, while the double-seal design helps protect against water ingress and air leakage.
The product offers fully controllable ventilation, allowing occupants to adjust airflow to suit indoor conditions. Optional cord controls, an upward air deflector and an aluminium external hood provide additional flexibility for different window designs and installation requirements.
With equivalent areas of up to 5,670 mm² per metre in the fully controllable configuration, the Brookvent Thermal Break is a practical choice for residential and commercial projects where ventilation, thermal performance and weather resistance are important considerations.
