The Brookvent SM1400 trickle vent is a high-performance window ventilation solution designed for demanding environments where durability, weather resistance and reliable airflow are essential. Featuring a streamlined, unobtrusive design and robust aluminium construction, the SM1400 combines effective background ventilation with enhanced protection against severe weather conditions.

Specifically developed for exposed locations and high-rise buildings, the SM1400 incorporates durable wool-pile seals to provide additional protection against wind and weather. This makes it a practical choice for projects where window ventilation products must withstand challenging external conditions while maintaining reliable everyday performance.

Designed for surface mounting onto suitable windows, the SM1400 allows fresh air to circulate while windows remain closed. Its natural upward airflow deflection directs incoming air upwards, helping to distribute fresh air more comfortably within the room.

The SM1400 is fully controllable, allowing users to adjust the ventilation opening to suit their requirements. It is available with a manual control or a portable rod-control option, providing additional flexibility where the vent is positioned out of easy reach. The rod-control option is available in 0.5m and 1m lengths.

An integrated insect grille helps prevent unwanted insects from entering through the ventilation opening. For projects requiring easier access for cleaning and maintenance, an internal removable grille option is also available, making the SM1400 particularly suitable for high-rise developments and other installations where accessibility can be challenging.

Manufactured from extruded aluminium with a durable polyester powder-coated finish, the SM1400 is built for long-term use. It is available in white, mill finish and selected bespoke colours and finishes, allowing it to coordinate with different window frames and architectural designs.
