The Brookvent Airstream ACE is an Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV) system that helps keep your home fresh and comfortable by continuously removing stale, damp air from rooms where moisture builds up.

Designed for houses and apartments, this compact ventilation system helps improve indoor air quality and reduce excess moisture throughout your home. Its flexible design makes it suitable for a range of installations, including homes where space is limited.

How Does It Work?

The Airstream ACE uses a central fan unit connected by ductwork to rooms where moisture and stale air commonly build up, such as bathrooms, kitchens and toilets.

1. Extracts stale air

The system continuously draws stale, moist air out of these rooms and removes it from your home.

2. Fresh air enters your home

As stale air is extracted, fresh air enters through suitable air vents in windows or external walls in living spaces and bedrooms.

This ongoing process helps reduce moisture, remove indoor pollutants and maintain a fresher, more comfortable home.

Cooking, showering and everyday activities create moisture inside your home. Without effective ventilation, this can build up and contribute to condensation and mould.

The Airstream ACE helps remove excess moisture at its source by extracting damp air from kitchens, bathrooms and other wet rooms, supporting a healthier indoor environment.

Smart, Energy-Efficient Ventilation

Designed to run continuously, the Airstream ACE provides background ventilation throughout the day. When more ventilation is needed, the system can increase its airflow to help clear moisture and stale air more quickly.

Its built-in humidity sensor can automatically increase ventilation when humidity rises above the level set during installation. A boost overrun timer can also be adjusted to suit your requirements.

Boost Control When You Need It

Whether you’re showering, cooking or simply need extra ventilation, the Airstream ACE can increase its extraction rate when required.

The system can be controlled using the Airstream ACE wall switch, with boost also available through a compatible 230V input. The optional remote controller allows users to switch between operating modes and see the system’s status.

Compact and Flexible Installation

The Airstream ACE is designed to fit a variety of homes and installation spaces. It offers wall, ceiling and floor mounting options, with different duct connection types to suit the layout of your property.

Its compact design makes it suitable for locations such as lofts, plant rooms and service voids, helping installers find a practical position for the unit.

The Airstream ACE is designed to extract stale air from multiple rooms, including:

Fresh air enters through appropriate vents in living areas and bedrooms, helping maintain airflow throughout the home. However, the Airstream ACE is a mechanical extract ventilation (MEV) system and does not recover heat from outgoing air. Fresh air enters through suitable vents elsewhere in the home.
