Unlike a standard extractor fan that only runs when switched on, the Airstream DMEV is designed to run continuously in the background.

How Does It Work?

The Airstream DMEV continuously extracts stale air from your room and releases it outside, helping to maintain a fresher indoor environment.

Removes stale, moist air

The fan continuously draws air from rooms where moisture and odours build up, such as bathrooms, toilets and kitchens. This continuous process helps manage humidity, reduce unwanted odours and improve indoor air quality.

Help Reduce Condensation and Mould

Everyday activities such as showering, cooking and washing create moisture inside your home. Without effective ventilation, this moisture can build up and contribute to condensation and mould.

The Airstream DMEV helps remove damp air at its source, supporting a healthier and more comfortable living environment.

Quiet and Energy-Efficient

Designed for continuous operation, the Airstream DMEV uses an energy-efficient EC motor to provide ventilation throughout the day while keeping electricity consumption low.

Its aerodynamic fan design helps reduce air turbulence and noise, making it suitable for everyday use in spaces where quiet operation is important.

Continuous Ventilation with Boost Control

The Airstream DMEV runs at a lower trickle speed to provide background ventilation. When extra extraction is needed, the fan can increase to boost speed to remove moisture and stale air more quickly.

Different versions are available to suit your needs:

• Airstream DMEV: Continuous trickle ventilation with boost activated by a suitable switch or compatible sensor.

• Airstream DMEV CF: Includes constant-flow control and an adjustable overrun timer, helping maintain the selected airflow.

• Airstream DMEV HT: Includes a humidity sensor that automatically increases the fan speed when moisture levels rise, then returns to trickle speed once humidity falls and the timer period has elapsed.

The available controls depend on the model selected.

Designed for Flexible Installation

The Airstream DMEV is compact. It can be fitted to a wall with air discharged directly outside or through a short length of ducting.

Available in 100mm options, with selected models also available in 150mm, it offers flexibility for different rooms and ventilation requirements.

Its modern front cover can be removed without tools, making routine cleaning straightforward.
