The Brookvent Aircycle 3.1 Digital is a high-performance Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) system designed to provide continuous, balanced ventilation for medium to large residential properties, including houses, apartments and self-build developments.
The system continuously extracts stale, moisture-laden air from kitchens, bathrooms and other wet rooms, while supplying fresh, filtered air to living spaces and bedrooms. Before the extracted air is discharged outside, its heat energy is recovered through the unit's heat exchanger and transferred to the incoming fresh air. This helps reduce ventilation-related heat loss while supporting a healthier, fresher and more comfortable indoor environment.
Designed for Flexible Installation
The Aircycle 3.1 digital has been designed to suit the requirements of modern residential construction, offering wall or floor mounting options to accommodate different property layouts and installation requirements. With top or side duct connections, the unit provides greater flexibility when planning ventilation systems and working within available installation space.

Energy-Efficient Ventilation
With heat recovery efficiency of up to 93%, and down to 0.38 W/l/s specific fan power, the Aircycle 3.1 digital is designed to deliver effective ventilation while minimising energy consumption.
The system uses low-energy EC fans and a high-efficiency heat exchanger to recover warmth from extracted air and transfer it to incoming fresh air. This helps reduce heat loss through ventilation while balancing airflow performance, energy efficiency and acoustic comfort.
Automatic Humidity Control
The Aircycle 3.1 Digital features an integral humidistat that monitors humidity levels within the extracted air. When moisture levels rise above the set threshold, the system automatically increases ventilation to help remove excess humidity from the property.
This is particularly beneficial in kitchens, bathrooms and utility rooms, where everyday activities can create excess moisture. By helping manage indoor humidity, the Aircycle 3.1 supports a healthier living environment and helps reduce the risk of condensation.
Advanced Digital Control
The Aircycle 3.1 Digital offers four fully variable airflow modes, allowing ventilation rates to be adjusted to suit the property's requirements:

Night mode: Supports quieter ventilation during sleeping hours.

General mode: Provides everyday ventilation at the commissioned airflow rate.

Boost mode: Increases ventilation when additional extraction is required, such as during cooking or showering.

Purge mode: Provides a higher ventilation rate when rapid air replacement is needed.
The required remote digital controller provides access to system settings and operating information, supporting precise commissioning and adjustment within the configured parameters. Additional features include programmable boost settings, operating-hours monitoring, fault alerts and filter maintenance reminders. The filter reset Pin is 1234.
Summer Bypass
The Aircycle 3.1 has an automatic summer bypass to help keep your home comfortable during warmer weather.
When the outside temperature rises above 17°C and the indoor extracted air temperature rises above 21°C, the bypass automatically opens. This allows fresh air to bypass the heat recovery core, helping to bring cooler outdoor air into the home without recovering heat from the outgoing air.
The bypass will automatically close when either the outside temperature falls below 17°C or the indoor temperature falls below 21°C.
Frost Protection
The Aircycle 3.1 has an automatic frost protection function to help protect the heat recovery core during cold weather.
When the outside temperature drops below the factory-set 5°C, the supply fan automatically switches off for 5 minutes every hour. This allows warmer air from inside the home to pass through the heat recovery core without cold fresh air entering at the same time.
This helps raise the temperature inside the unit and prevents ice from forming within the heat recovery core, helping to protect the system and maintain reliable operation during colder conditions.
Frost protection operates automatically, so no manual adjustment is required.
Please Note - The Aircycle 3.1 Digital unit has to be used with the aircycle digital controller, the unit will not work if you do not have a controller. The controller is also sold separately.
