The Biddle IndAC2 industrial air curtain is the perfect solution for separating climates in industrial buildings. Doors are often open for long periods of time to facilitate transport in and out of the building.
The IndAC2 air curtain can be used for climate separation between indoor and outdoor environments and for indoor climate separation between two spaces with different temperatures.
High Climate Separation Efficiency – Open doors cause energy loss and disturb the inside climate; the difference between the inside and outside temperature leads to an exchange of air, resulting in cold air entering and warm, heated air, flowing out. When the IndAC2 air curtain is mounted above or next to an open door it provides a very efficient climate separation at the lowest energy consumption.

The MAT air curtain is used for climate separation between the cold store and the loading area in order to keep the temperature at a constant level in the cold store. Furthermore it allows unobstructed access to and from the cold store, radically reducing misting and icing and provides an energy saving solution.
Energy Saving Hybrid Solution
Energy saving solutions are becoming of great importance in the industrial and cold sector. Fan convectors are one of the safest, easiest and most cost-effective ways of heating the schools and nurseries buildings. With minimal maintenance requirements, fan convectors rapidly distribute heat across the classrooms whilst occupying much less wall space than a radiator of equivalent output. The Forceflow CB fan convector has been designed to provide similar heating duties to traditional fan convectors but with condensing boiler water temperatures of 60°C flow and 40°C return, or lower.

Whereas most fan convectors have a surface temperature in excess of 50°C, the surface temperature of the Forceflow Low Surface Temperature (LST) is no greater than 43°C. This is a significant safety benefit, especially in environments where there are young children or vulnerable adults, such as nurseries, infant and special needs schools, sheltered accommodation and care homes.

Innovair fresh air fan convectors provide controlled volumes of fresh air, control of space temperature and free/night cooling. All Innovair units incorporate a unique ‘cyclic’ fresh air damper system, which allows the amount of outside air entering the space to be accurately metered and varied in line with the occupants’ fresh air requirements. The IsolAir2 chilled room air curtain is the perfect solution for indoor climate separation which does not require heating. Fitting an IsolAir2 air curtain above the doorway ensures an ideal separation between two temperature zones, whilst energy consumption is kept to a minimum. The air curtain is specifically designed for indoor climate separation where several climate zones are more or less constant. The IsolAir is applied in chilled rooms of production companies, distribution centres and in small cold stores in supermarkets.

Recognising the demand for high performance fan coils on certain projects Biddle sourced the best quality components and developed a fan coil which has been proven in many prestigious installations.
Individual direct-drive fans, rather than a fan deck, ensure the highest performance and quiet operation, with a flame retardant polymeric-based drain tray enabling steam cleaning in environments such as hospitals. Filters, of an EU2 grade, are of a cardboard frame type which can be removed without dismantling the ceiling grid. Available as an ‘on-show’ cased variant for high or low level use.
