BRL34Z-SM EWR

The Brookvent BRL34Z-SM EWR is a surface-mounted aluminium ventilation louvre designed to provide effective airflow while offering increased resistance to water penetration. Featuring a 34 mm Z-profile blade design, it is suitable for external wall applications where ventilation performance and protection against rainwater ingress are important considerations.

The BRL34Z-SM EWR provides a visual free area of 29% and a physical free area of 21%. The visual free area represents the apparent open proportion of the louvre when viewed from the front, while the physical free area indicates the effective open area available for air to pass through. These values help with product comparison and ventilation planning. Actual airflow will also depend on pressure drop, installation dimensions and the design of the wider ventilation system.

Manufactured from extruded aluminium profiles using EN AW-6060 T66 aluminium alloy, the louvre incorporates AISI 304 stainless steel mesh with 2.3 × 2.3 mm apertures. Its EWR (Extreme Water Resistant) design is intended for external ventilation openings where improved resistance to water ingress is required.

Designed for direct surface mounting onto a compatible wall or façade, the BRL34Z-SM EWR provides a practical finish for air intake and exhaust openings in commercial, industrial and building-services applications
