At Brookvent, we offer a wide variety of customisable surface-mounted and glazed-in window vents suitable for residential properties. These can be manufactured to meet your specific project needs and come with a variety of colour and control options. Each window vent in our range delivers excellent performance and durability with a beautiful finish and a guarantee of up to 10 years.
Under current UK building regulations, new-build homes and extensions must include window vents in new doors and windows. Our selection of window and trickle vents help you meet this legal requirement affordably and effectively.
How do window vents work?
Window vents feature an airflow slot through the top of the sash or frame. They provide continuous fresh air flow and ventilation with negligible heat loss even while the window remains closed and secure. This helps to flush out stale or moist air, removing condensation, mould, dust mites and foul smells, which lowers the risk of property damage and respiratory conditions.
These slim, unobtrusive trickle vents can easily be opened or closed to allow passive background air exchange between the inside and outside of your home. Unlike opening a window, trickle vents don’t allow significant heat to escape and can be left open while you’re away without compromising security.
